however when using a client such as wmp 11 on windows vista the behavior is more strange. Twonky successfully reads the keywords from metadata to ps3. when using photo keywords from QNAP native DLNA on ps3, i see the separate keywords combined together and fail to display any photos. on the other hand there seems to be a bug in the way media library extracts the photo keyword/tags from photo metadata as they are not updated (possible something to do with IPTC/XMP fields). indeed, the native DLNA pushes album art and cached photo thumbnails to the DLNA/upnp client such as PS3 unlike the installed twonky (im using twonky 6 that comes with QTS 4). I see nearly no videos here and I see them in Twonky). May Struggle with some high bit-rate SD media Will install but below minimum Plex Spec Struggles transcoding Full Bluray bit-rates. The builtin DLNA could potentially use features like albums and playlists, however since it's beta (or is it alpha?), still seem to lack some features (e.g. amongst others, they both scan the media library when I start the NAS. Twonky? I am tempted to start with QNAP's DLNA but wanted to know other people's thoughts? as far as I understand it, the native DLNA uses the media library shared by photo station, music station and video station, while twonky media has its own library. Wrong QPKG for your OS 32 bit OS is sadly no longer supported What you get from QNAP natively, is a mistake, and needs to be addressed with them ChuckPa And sadly, QNAP decided, that the QNAP you have no longer should receive OS updates, and as such, is no longer supported, since only 圆4 is.
